Driver arrested for hit and run in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested a vehicle driver in half an hour after he hit and ran over a person in Al Dakhiliyah governorate.

In a statement ROP said “A driver of a vehicle in an abnormal condition hit a person and escaped from the scene, and the police headquarters of Al Dakhiliyah governorate arrested him within half an hour after forming a research team and investigation according to the vehicle specifications that given, and legal procedures will be completed against it.”
