Pele admits declining health issues are normal at his age

The great Pele of Brazil has finally opened up about his health issues a few days after his son Edinho raised an alarm.
The World Cup legend admitted that his current situation was a normal thing to deal with at his age.
Edinho raised an alarm that his father who won three World Cups is embarrassed at leaving his house.
The 79-year-old needs a frame to be able to work properly due to his hips problems but refused to make use of them.
Pele said: "I am good. I continue to accept my physical limitations in the best way possible but I intend to keep the ball rolling."

Pele scored a world record 1,281 goals in 1,363 appearances during a 21-year career, including 77 goals in 91 appearances for Brazil.
He still owns the world record of the number of goals scored by a footballer with 1,281 strikes in 1,363 matches in his glittering 21-year career.
Pele has battled with health issues at his old age in the past, after treating urinary tract infection last year and had a prostate surgery in 2015.
The former Santos and New York is currently working with a British director on a documentary about his colourful career in the round leather game.
"I am not avoiding fulfilling the commitments in my always busy schedule," he added in a statement.
"I have good days and bad days. That is normal for people of my age. I am not afraid, I am determined, confident in what I do."

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Pele has refused to leave his home because he is unable to walk and the current state of his health is declining, his son claims.
The three-time World Cup winner with Brazil was diagnosed with urinary tract infection last year April.
The legendary attacker who is set to clock 80 later in the year now needs support to walk, with many of his public appearances in a wheelchair.
