FG appoints new director for Nigerian French village

The Federal Ministry of Education has appointed Prof Lateef Ayeleru as the Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria French Language Village, Badagry, Lagos State.

The Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, who announced this in Abuja on Friday, said the appointment took effect from January 10, 2020.

Adamu revealed that the appointment is for a single term of five years, urging Ayeleru to cater for the yearnings and expectations of the Federal Government in the performance of his duties.

Adamu also added that the conditions of service of Prof Ayeleru, including remunerations and fringe benefits, are as provided for Vice-Chancellors in federal universities.

Ayeleru hails from the Iwajowa Local Government Area of Oyo State and was born on February 12, 1966.
