Sponsored: Why join an interest list?

by

Everyone receives more than enough unsolicited emails, text messages and phone calls, especially in an election year. Why, then would someone volunteer to receive even more communications?

Turns out, the reasons are logical for anyone who is seriously considering a move to a new-home community. And if that new-home community hasn’t yet broken ground, getting on the interest list right when it opens can save the buyer thousands of dollars, give them unique access to the builder, and allow them greater flexibility in choosing their home’s options and design features.

Several builders in the Bay Area and beyond are opening interest lists for new communities now; some have already built models and still others can show buyers detailed artist renderings and provide opportunities to get in on the ground floor, literally.

Up in Sonoma, Concord-based DeNova Homes has opened the interest list for its charming Mockingbird Lane community, which, at completion, will consist of 20 homes on 18 lots. Two of the lots feature two-unit, below-market-rate (BMR) duplex homes.

The remaining 16 are single-family homes ranging in size from 1,813 square feet to 2,563 square feet that take advantage of every corner of living space. In addition, each of the single-family houses features a detached garage on the rear of the property that includes a one-bedroom, 742-square-foot accessory dwelling unit (ADU).

Located just a mile from charming downtown Sonoma, imagine your in-laws visiting from overseas for a month and all of you being able to take advantage of some quiet time and privacy. Alternatively, anyone who telecommutes regularly will agree that a detached home office would provide the ultimate environment for quiet productivity.

Given the selective inventory at Mockingbird Lane, getting on the interest list is a smart move, even for those with only a casual interest. The grand opening of Mockingbird Lane is expected in early summer 2020.

In Tracy, which has become an area of opportunity offering commute options to the Bay Area, models are now open for resort-style living at the master-planned community of Tracy Hills. There, the neighborhoods are called villages, each designed to evolve over several phases and incorporating single-level and two-story homes, community parks (including a dog park), walking and hiking trails, and open space.

Just minutes from the Altamont Corridor Express (ACE) train that runs from Tracy through Livermore to South San Jose, home life after work will take place at comfortable, luxury houses from three builders. Woven into the fabric of Tracy Hills life is The Residents Club with its Olympic-size swimming pool, main club area, multipurpose room for private events and a central, outdoor gathering area. That space is anchored by The Market, with a coffee shop and the convenience of essential retail for spur-of-the-moment needs.

Three builders are showcasing model homes ranging in size from 2,155 square feet to 4,100 square feet with up to as many as six bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms. Many include first-floor en suite bedrooms, spacious open floor plans with walk-in pantries and dedicated walk-in closets for each upstairs bedroom.

Getting on the interest list for Tracy Hills is a must to stay informed about the latest news on community development, the builders’ newest offerings and the events taking place in this increasingly welcoming community. Visit TracyHillsLife.com.

Also in Tracy, three communities by Woodside Homes at the Ellis master-planned community recently entered the pre-model sales phase. Floor plans range from 2,377 square feet to 2,945 square feet and include three to six bedrooms and three or three-and-a-half bathrooms. The models, which will begin opening later this year, feature Mediterranean Revival, Farmhouse Victorian and European Country architecture in a community with a family-friendly feel.

Get on the presale interest lists for Woodside’s Berkshire, Stanford and Zephyr neighborhoods at Ellis to learn how you can choose your lot and customize your home before the foundation is poured.
