Justin Bieber has donated to a Chinese charity as he gave his support amid the coronavirus crisis.

The singer encouraged his fans to ‘be there for each other’ through the ongoing worldwide outbreak.

Appearing in an Instagram video he sent ‘prayers of support’ to the people of China, and thanked his friend, the actor and model Kris Wu, for his advice.

He said in the clip: ‘What’s going on China, Justin Bieber here. I just wanted to say I know it’s a very scary time in the country right now but my prayers of support go out to you guys, you guys are amazing.’

The Yummy singer added in the caption: ‘Watching the news I couldn’t imagine how scary it would be if a new disease was effecting my wife and my family and friends.

‘China we stand with you as a collective humanity and have made a donation to support.

‘Whether it be this or the fires of Australia we all need to be there for eachother. Shout out to my friend @kriswu for the conversation.’

A screenshot on his Instagram explained Justin’s donation would be to support Beijing Chunmio Children Aid Foundation.

A tourist in London recently became the ninth person in the country to be confirmed as having the illness, also named Covid-19.

Meanwhile Justin is back on the music scene with his album Intentions.

His docuseries to mark the release included an intimate clip from his wedding to Hailey Baldwin, and showed the popstar stumbling over his vows.

The pair married for the second time in South Carolina last year, in front of the likes of Kendall and Kylie Jenner, her daughter Stormi, Jaden Smith and Usher.
