Mamelodi Sundowns have five players who will need to tread lightly this weekend when they come up against Chippa United in the Absa Premiership.

The Brazilians will return to league action this weekend in a must-win clash against the Chilli Boys, with no less than three points needed to keep their title hopes alive.

However, as they want to maintain full strength throughout the month of February, there is a concern about five of their key players who have all accumulated three yellow card bookings each, one away from suspension.

Gaston Sirino, Hlompho Kekana, Mosa Lebusa, Sibusiso Vilakazi and Wayne Arendse are all on three yellow card bookings, with Sundowns having three domestic fixtures in line this month.

After hosting Chippa United, the Brazilians will thereafter welcome Bloemfontein Celtic to the Loftus Versfeld Stadium on February 19, before facing off with Vaal University of Technology in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup competition on February 23.
