Chelsea vs Man United: Charlie Nicholas backs Blues to win clash
- Chelsea vs Man United will see both sides seek to cart home all the three points to increase chances of finishing in the top four
- United demolished the Blues 4-0 in the reverse fixture played at Old Trafford in the opening day of the ongoing campaign
- However, Arsenal hero Charlie Nicholas is backing the west London side to beat the Red Devils
Arsenal legend Charlie Nicholas has tipped Chelsea to secure a crucial victory over Man United when the two sides face off in the Premier League.
Chelsea have been in brilliant shape this season under the tutelage of Frank Lampard and welcome struggling Man United at Stamford Bridge in a defining EPL clash on Monday night, February 17.
The Blues currently remain fourth on the log despite a recent slump as they push to seal a place in the Champions League.
United, on the other hand are eighth having collected just nine wins in 25 league matches this season and face the prospect of missing out on a UCL slot.

And speaking on Sky Sports, Nicholas pointed out United's inconsistencies will be their biggest undoing ahead of the London trip.
"Manchester United will have got some of their players fit during the break. They were excellent when they went to Manchester City twice, but they are showing no consistency," he told Sky Sports.
"I do think Chelsea will have enough, but they will need to focus on getting their style right and doing the basics effectively. Chelsea 2-1 Manchester United," he added.
The Red Devils smashed Chelsea 4-0 in the reverse fixture played at Old Trafford on the opening day of the campaign.
Victory over the west London side will see the Manchester club narrow the gap between them and the Blues to just one point.
