«Mörtel» Lugner kommt mit Ornella Muti zum Wiener Opernball
So kompliziert war die Suche nach «Mörtel» Lugners Opernball-Begleitung wohl noch nie. Doch jetzt steht fest: Der Society-Löwe kommt mit einer italienischen Schauspielerin zum prestigeträchtigen Event.

Es war wie eine Telenovela: Wer wird Bau-Impresario Richard «Mörtel» Lugner 2020 zum Wiener Opernball begleiten? Zuerst war die Rede von Ex-Skistar Linday Vonn. Doch jetzt springt Ornella Muti am gesellschaftlichen Top-Event Österreichs ein.
«Wir haben nun Ornella Muti als neuen attraktiven Gast für den heurigen Opernball und eine fixe Zusage», teilte Lugner am Freitag mit. Der österreichischen Nachrichtenagentur APA sagte er, dass sie aus seiner Sicht «ein toller Gast» sei.
Eigentlich hatte Lugner mit Ex-Skistar Lindsey Vonn den Ball besuchen wollen, doch die US-Amerikanerin gab ihm nur wenige Tage nach der Bekanntgabe einen Korb. Lugner hatte bei einer Pressekonferenz unter anderem ein Nacktfoto der 35-Jährigen in die Kamera gehalten. Ob das letztlich zur Absage führte, darf der 87-Jährige aber wegen einer schriftlichen Vereinbarung nicht sagen.
Der Manager seiner nächsten Dame der Wahl stoppte dann am Donnerstag in letzter Sekunde eine Pressekonferenz, bei der Lugner ihren Namen bekannt geben wollte. Nach dem für Lugner durchaus peinlichen Vorfall habe er ihr abgesagt, teilte er am Freitag mit.

Ornella Muti ist nun also seine dritte Wahl. Die 64-jährige Italienerin ist vor allem als Darstellerin in Komödien an der Seite von Adriano Celentano populär geworden. Unter anderem spielte sie in «Der gezähmte Widerspenstige» (1980) und «Gib dem Affen Zucker» (1981) mit.
Diese Promis waren schon in Lugners Loge zu Gast.
