Angry Brexiteer destroyed on Twitter after complaining about long queue at EU airport

by

A Brexit Leave voter has been annihilated on Twitter after complaining about his long wait in the immigration queue at the airport.

The UK officially left the EU at the end of last month which means that a British traveller will have to take the ‘Other nationalities’ border check queue when travelling to EU countries — which can be a much lengthier process.

And it seems some Brexit voters didn’t take this consideration into account when they voted on June 23, 2016 — including a Twitter user who had decided to take a trip to Amsterdam.

‘Absolutely disgusting service at Schiphol airport. 55 minutes we have been stood in the immigration queue,’ Twitter user Colin Browning said.

‘This isn’t the Brexit I voted for’.

Many were quick to spot the irony and his tweet was soon swamped with snarky responses.

‘How’s that control you took back going?’ One user asked.

‘Roses are red, passports are blue, please stand over there, in the laughing stock queue,’ another decided to wax poetry over the poor man’s misery.

‘Thanks for the heads up,’ an Irish man with a British wife said. ‘Next time we travel to Holland, I can pop through customs and have a couple of beers while I’m waiting for her.’

‘You obviously didn’t know what you were voting,’ another said. ‘This is exactly what Brexit means. Deal with it.’

Others only responded with: ‘Hahahahahahahahaha.’

Schiphol airport had previously warned that UK travellers could expect delays after Britain’s exit from the EU due to additional document checks.
