Turkish newspaper Sabah report Galatasaray are looking to loan Southampton midfielder Mario Lemina for another season.

The 26 year old has impressed for the Turkish champions in the past few weeks, playing a pivotal role in the Super Lig club’s recent four successive league wins. Galatasaray plan to release all their loanee players they brought in last summer, apart from Lemina.

Due to his run of form, and good relationship with Gala manager Fatih Terim, Cim Bom want him to remain with them beyond this season and are looking at alternative deals they can propose to Southampton.

A bid of €8m, which is half of his redemption clause, has been reported this week but Sabah claim Galatasaray will instead offer another loan deal to Southampton, this time with a mandatory option to buy.

The Gabonese international is also open to staying at Galatasaray with previous claims the Turkish club may seek his help to complete the move.
