BETTRENDS SELECTION: YALA ENKI
Although 11lb higher than when successful in this race two years ago YALA ENKI gets the vote to land Saturday’s Grand National Trial from Haydock. The 10-year-old finished only fifth last year, but the ground wasn’t as testing as he likes on that occasion. He has been in fine form of late (switched to Paul Nicholls) and arrives on Merseyside on the back of a heavy-ground win over this trip at Taunton. Twice a winner from four chase starts at the track, another big run looks on the cards.

SKY BET EXTRA PLACE RACE: PAYING 4 PLACES ON E.W. BETS!
The winner of this race in 2018, YALA ENKI relishes testing ground at Haydock and arrives here on the back of a win over the same trip last month, on what was just his third start for trainer Paul Nicholls.
