BIG MAC AND FLIES
Man eats mouldy McDonald’s Big Mac meal A YEAR after he buried it in garden
by April RoachA MAN buried a Big Mac meal in a garden and waited more than a year to eat the mouldy fly-infested food in a sickening challenge.
Matt Nadin, 40, from Barnsley, South Yorkshire decided to push his 'talent' of eating gone-off food to the extreme by trying a McDonald's 365 challenge on his 40th birthday.
After buying a Big Mac, fries and chocolate milkshake just before he turned 39 in November 2018, Matt decided to bury the fast-food meal in his friend Andy Thompson's backyard in a Tupperware box.
The dad-of-three meant to dig up the food in time for his 40th birthday but he only found time to retrieve it recently, meaning the food was actually 14-months-old.
Matt and Andy took the mouldy food back to the McDonald's restaurant where they originally purchased it before Matt tucked in to the stomach-churning meal.
Footage posted to the daring duo's YouTube channel Beeper Beef shows Matt gagging and struggling to swallow the gone-off food.
From the first bite Matt admits there's a "funny taste" to the food as he tries the "freezing cold" Big Mac.
Shockingly, the prankster manages to consume all of the chips covered in green mould and the chocolate milkshake looking like "dirt" in just 20 minutes.
Matt said: "The chips were horrendous, there was just no moisture in them at all.
"The burger actually wasn't too bad. It was soggy underneath and the lettuce tasted gone-off but the meat was just hard."
He compared the "fizzy" milkshake to a fruit smoothie.
The prankster called his feat the 'McDonald's 365 challenge' after seeing someone else try a similar mouldy food challenge.
He said: "I have eaten some pretty weird things in my time and I remember seeing something where someone had preserved a McDonald's meal for years so I decided to take it a step further and eat it."
"I've done weird food challenges since college just messing about showing off so I suppose that's where it all started."
