2020 Chevrolet Colorado Price Slashed By Thousands
Take advantage of this offer while you still can.
by Martin BiggThe Chevrolet Colorado has been updated for the 2021 model year with refreshed styling to help it compete with the Ford Ranger, but there's still plenty of remaining inventory of the outgoing model ahead of the refreshed pickup truck hitting dealers. As a result, there are some enticing discounts for the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado available nationwide right now.
Throughout February, Chevrolet is offering a $2,000 cash allowance on the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado for every trim apart from the base model. In addition, eligible GM Cardmembers can also earn a $1,000 bonus discount.
With the maximum $3,000 discount, the range-topping 2020 Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 gets a price cut from $42,495 to $39,495, while the Z71 trim's MSRP is reduced from $34,995 to $31,995. The 2020 Chevrolet Colorado LT, on the other hand, is discounted from $28,795 down to $25,795 and the WT trim's price plummets from $25,895 to $22,895. To take advantage of this offer, owners must take delivery by March 2, 2020. To state the obvious, the offer also only applies to the 2020 model year Colorado.
It's worth noting, however, that Chevrolet has offered better discounts for the Colorado in the past. Last July, Chevrolet slashed the price of the Colorado ZR2 by over $5,000 as part of a special Independence Day discount.
As standard, the 2020 Chevrolet Colorado packs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder good for 200 horsepower and 191 lb-ft of torque, which can be upgraded to a more powerful 3.6-liter V6 producing 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque. Alternatively, a 2.8-liter turbodiesel option is available with a best-in-class towing capacity of 7,700 lbs.
For the 2020 model year, Chevrolet removed the six-speed manual gearbox, meaning that a six- or eight-speed automatic are the only transmission options. Also new for the is an Infotainment 3 Plus system featuring an eight-inch touchscreen with navigation.
