SYFY Announces Vagrant Queen Premiere Date With First Trailer

Vagrant Queen, the upcoming SYFY series based on the Vault Comics title of the same name, has confirmed its premiere date with a trailer that doesn't pull any punches.

The trailer introduces the "Queen" (Elida), the "Deadbeat" (Isaac) and the "Mechanic" (Amae) before revealing the series premieres on March 27 at 10 p.m. ET.

Based on Vault Comics' Vagrant Queen by Magdalene Visaggio and Jason Smith, the SYFY series follows Elida, a scavenger who finds herself in some rather unsavory parts of the galaxy in an attempt to avoid the hit put out on her bloodline.

The series' official synopsis is below:

Vagrant Queen follows Elida from child queen to orphaned outcast, as she scavenges the treacherous corners of the galaxy, always one step ahead of the Republic government out to extinguish her bloodline. When her old friend Isaac shows up claiming her mother Xevelyn is still alive, they head off with their new ally, Amae, to stage a rescue that will take her back into the perilous heart of her former kingdom and up against a deadly foe from her childhood, Commander Lazaro.

Developed for television by Jem Garrard, Vagrant Queen stars Adriyan Rae, Tim Rozon and Paul du Toit. The series premieres March 27 at 10 p.m. ET on SYFY.
