There were smiles — and cameras — all around at the official re-opening of the Sea to Sky Gondola near Squamish, B.C. Friday morning, Feb. 14.

The main cable of the gondola was cut by a vandal on Aug. 10. Police are still investigating. Gondola officials say new security measures are in place and a cut to the cable could never occur while the cars are in motion.
