Susan Boyle had her first ever Loose Women interview today - unfortunately, many viewers branded it a "car crash" after a number of incredibly awkward moments. Particularly after the "uncomfortable" panel questioned her about her sex life...

It didn't get off to the best start when the 58-year-old, who shot to fame in 2008 following her unforgettable appearance on Britain's Got Talent, spoke about her crush on Piers Morgan.

As they probed her, panelist Denise Welch was couldn't help but make a dig at the outspoken Good Morning Britain presenter.

She was also asked about celebrating Valentine's Day for the first time.

Susan said: "I came back with a smile on my face.

Throughout the interview, the panelists appeared incredibly uncomfortable as they tried to navigate the interview.

At the end of the chat, Susan was asked whether she had a lover in her life at the moment.

Initially she was evasive but quipped: "I've had somebody but I had the sense to end the relationship!"

Awkward viewers flocked to Twitter, with some accusing some of the panelists of being "condescending" towards the singer.

One tweeted: "Bloody hell this is cringe so far #loosewomen."

While another commented: "Cringe fest #LooseWomen."

A third remarked: "I always feel a bit uncomfortable when Susan Boyle is interviewed. She seems so vulnerable #LooseWomen."
