Shoppers say Superdrug's £5 perfume is 'exactly' like YSL's Black Opium for £130 less

When it comes to beauty products many still believe the more expensive the better quality but now shoppers are convinced a bargain perfume is just as good as a designer one.

It's a trend which many retailers are offering lately - designer replicas at a fraction of the price.

So, it's not surprising to see health and beauty retailer Superdrug has joined in offering its customers just that.

Its Layering Lab Exotic fragrance is priced at £5 for the Eau de Toilette perfume or £1.98 for the body spray.

And, it has already won over hundreds of customers - with it selling out reguarly.

Reviews on Superdrug's website describe it as being "exactly" like YSL's Black Opium perfume.

One user said: "It was out of stock five times before I could get it so if you're interested in scents similar to YSL black opium especially for a fraction of the price don't waste time in buying it."

Another said: "I ordered this after reading all the hype about it smelling like Black Opium and it did not disappoint the smell is amazingly like the perfume , it obviously doesn’t last as long as it’s only a body mist but great to wear in the summer and a tiny fraction of the price , my only gripe is that it’s so hard to get hold of the most popular 3 either in shops or online."

And a third said: "This is really fantastic I love the smell and it is So similar to Black Opium but at a fraction of the cost and when your on a budget it is wonderful.
