Missing sledder found dead

RCMP and the BC Coroners Service are investigating after a missing snowmobiler was found dead near Revelstoke.
Police were advised late Wednesday afternoon of a missing sledder on Mount MacPherson.
Revelstoke Search and Rescue was called out, and searchers scoured the area until midnight, resuming Thursday morning, says Staff Sgt. Kurt Grabinsky.
Salmon Arm Search and Rescue and Golden Search and Rescue crews assisted in the search, and the man was found deceased about 10 a.m.
The BC Coroners Service has been notified and is investigating the circumstances surrounding the man's sudden death.
The man's name was not released.
