BSNL increases validity of this long term prepaid plan: Know price and other benefits

The users of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) in Tamil Nadu and Chennai region are in for some subscriber delight. As a promotional offer, the Telco has announced an offer on the Rs 999 recharge plan.

It will provide additional validity of 30 days to the subscribers who subscribe the said plan. So, in addition 30 days will be added to the exisiting 240 day plan making the plan valid for a total of 270 days.

The offer, however, will be available for a limited period.

As spotted by Gadgets 360, BSNL's official website posted that subscribers can avail the offer between February 15 and March 31. Customers can also avail the offer through any of the modes of recharge.

What does the plan offer?

Other than 250 minutes of voice calls, the plan offers access to Personalised Ringback Tones (PRBT) for 60 days. It does not include any high-speed data benefits.

The offer reads that the total freebies/plan validity of PV 999 will be 270 days for the recharge done during the promotional offer period. However, bundled content will be available for the first 240 days only.'

According to the notice posted by the BSNL, freebies will be available for FRC/migration/validity extension done with PV 999 during the promotional period in those 30 days.

Compared to this Jio's long term plans start at Rs 999 but the validity lasts for 90 days or 3 months. Besides this, Jio users get data benefit of 60 GB and complimentary subscription to Jio apps.

The company also claims that the bundled benefits include unlimited voice calls including national roaming. In addition to this, 100 SMS would be benefitted to the user for the entire validity period.
