Ferrari and Haas announce their line up for winter testing
by Louis ShawFerrari have announced who will test on which days during the first test week in Barcelona. Testing runs from Wednesday, February 19 to Friday, February 21, and the drivers will have to take it in turns throughout the week.
Haas have already announced their schedule. Kevin Magnussen takes care of the first day with Romain Grosjean the second and the two drivers will both get in the car on the third day. The Dane will drive in the morning and Grosjean will take care of the afternoon shift.
Ferrari
A similar schedule is being used at Ferrari. Day one is for Sebastian Vettel, meaning that the German will make the first meters in the new SF1000. Day two is shared by the two drivers with the morning being for Vettel and the afternoon for Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque will then take care of the third day on his own.
With just six days of pre-season testing, every minute will be crucial to gather information. Teams need to learn as much as possible about their car in order to be as well prepared as possible for the start of the season.
