There have been accusations circulating around that James Brown-the Godfather of Soul music- was murdered, thus, there should be an investigation.

However, James Brown’s doctor, Dr. Marvin Crawford, has said the Fulton County D.A.’s Office is wasting its time in looking into so-called evidence from Jacque Hollander because he claims there was no evidence of foul play when he examined Brown right after he died in a report by TMZ.

Crawford says Brown suffered a heart attack on December 23, 2006, and was hospitalized, he suffered a second heart attack not long afterward, which is what killed him on Christmas Day.

The doctor further explains that Brown had a long history of diabetes and hypertension, which contributed to his death.

Furthermore, speaking about Hollander who claims that Brown was murdered, he admits he has never met Hollander and has no idea how she has come to believe The Godfather of Soul might have been murdered.

Sometimes in a 2017 CNN interview, Crawford did raise questions about Brown’s death because the doctor reportedly wondered if James’ heart attack was triggered by a toxic substance or an OD.

However, after the interview, Crawford tells TMZ, “CNN said I said that but I didn’t say that about the drugs.”

On Christmas Day 2006, Brown died at approximately at age 73, from congestive heart failure, resulting from complications of pneumonia.

Bobbit was at his bedside and later reported that Brown stuttered, “I’m going away tonight,” then took three long, quiet breaths and fell asleep before dying.

However, in 2019, an investigation by CNN and other journalists led to suggestions that Brown had been murdered and this is being debunked by his doctor.
