'Snap your hand off' - Liverpool legend hands Leeds United boost ahead of Bristol City visit

How they think the Elland Road clash will go

A pair of Sky Sports pundits have predicted frustration for Bristol City at Leeds United this weekend.

The Robins travel to second-placed Leeds just three points off Marcelo Bielsa's side in what could be a big game for both club's promotion hopes this season.

Sky Sports duo David Prutton and Phil Thompson have had their say on the game, but neither can see City running out winners at Elland Road.

Predicting a 1-1 draw, Prutton said: "Marcelo Bielsa said he will stick with Kiko Casilla in goal, even though his confidence looks so low and he could probably do with being taken out of the firing line.

"Bristol City got a good win against Derby in midweek, and would snap your hand off for a draw at Elland Road."

Thompson, however, expects Leeds to run out 2-1 winners against City.

He said: "I am expecting Leeds to kick on.

"They'll be feeling good after the Brentford game."

The Robins' failure to win would not be too costly, however, if Prutton's other predictions come true.

He is anticipating table-toppers West Brom to beat fifth-placed Nottingham Forest - meaning a point would be enough for the Robins to move level with Sabri Lamouchi's side.

Prutton also expects fourth-placed Brentford to record a 2-2 draw with Birmingham City.

Fulham are tipped to beat Barnsley 2-0, a result that would see them move second above Leeds should the Whites fail to beat City on Saturday.

Prutton also feels that Preston North End will beat Millwall - a result that would see them move clear of the Robins.
