A Merseyside pub has been named among the best in the country.
The Cricketers Arms, in St Helens is one of 16 pubs which CAMRA's regard as the best in the UK.
The pub was previously named CAMRA National Pub of the Year in 2017 and serves 13 hand-pulls, 10 ciders and more than 100 gins.
The Cricketers Arms, which recently underwent a huge refurbishment, offers two beer gardens and an outdoor bar to host beer festivals and events, and is planning to open an on-site microbrewery later this year.
It prides itself on real ales.
The current owners have managed the establishment for more than four years and say it likes to offer a huge variety of beer and cider.
In fact, there are 13 changing cask ales as well as five light session pale ales to choose from.
The overall winner, and the pub which took home CAMRA's Pub of the Year was The Bell Inn in Aldworth, Berkshire, which as praised for its "combination of good beer, great food and warm heritage".
No Liverpool pubs were named among the top 16.
