Extreme cold warning remains in effect

Temperatures are expected to drop to -30 with the wind chill


An extreme cold warning is still in effect for Waterloo Region Friday morning.

It was first issued on Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to dip to -30 with the wind chill.

Frost bite and hypothermia are a concern once the temperature becomes this cold. 

The Region has warming centres open.
