Before leaving Juventus for a move to Paris-Saint-Germain, Gianluigi Buffon won nine League titles with the Old Lady, but he has never won the Champions League.

He then decided to leave Italy for a move to France thinking he would be able to lift the Champions League title having lost in three finals in his career.

Buffon and Paris-Saint-Germain were sent out of the Champions League by Premier League side Manchester United which was the game that got Ole Gunnar Solskjaer the full time job at Old Trafford.

United however went on to lose against Spanish side Barcelona in which Lionel Messi was superb in the two legs.

Juventus on the other hand got to the quarterfinal of the Champions League last season before they were sent out by Dutch side Ajax in which they even lost at home.

So far this season, Cristiano Ronaldo has scored 26 goals for Juventus in all competitions and he is still ready to net more.
