GAA on TV this weekend: Channels, fixtures and start times for National Hurling League clashes
There are three AHL games live on television this weekend
by Kevin TaylorHurling takes centre stage this weekend as the Allianz Football League takes a break, following a rest for inter-county hurling sides last weekend.
Three Division 1 games will be broadcast live on television.
On Saturday evening, Carlow play host to Dublin at Netwatch Cullen Park as they seek to attain their first win of the league campaign and shock Mattie Kenny's side in the process. Throw-in in Carlow is at 5pm.
Hurling fans can look forward to what should be a closer battle between Limerick and Waterford at 7pm, live from the Gaelic Grounds.
Both games will be shown live back-to-back on the eir Sport 1 channel.
Then it's on to Sunday afternoon, when two of the country's top sides - Galway and Tipperary - face off at Pearse Stadium live on TG4. Throw-in is at 2pm for that one and build-up gets underway at 1:30pm
Tipp will be chasing their first win of the campaign in that one after a stuttering start, while the Tribesmen have won one of their two outings so far.
Deferred coverage of the meeting between Leinster rivals Wexford and Kilkenny will follow at 3:45pm on TG4.
