Watford player transfer is a ‘goal’ for club – Hornets man ‘new objective’ for next season

On February 10th, we carried a report from El Periodico de Aragon, who explained Watford are planning to include Luis Suárez in their squad for next season.

The 22-year-old is currently on loan at Real Zaragoza and has impressed for the second division Spanish side by scoring 14 goals and managing three assists in 25 league appearances.

His performances have caught the attention of other clubs.

Friday’s edition of AS claims the Colombian (who holds a Spanish passport) is a ‘new objective’ and transfer ‘goal’ for Getafe.

Getafe could see Ángel Rodríguez join Barcelona in the coming days and they have identified the Watford owned player as his successor for next season.

According to the report, the La Liga side believe Suárez’s profile is close to that of Ángel.

Getafe will receive €10m from Ángel’s sale and AS adds they will invest part of that money in signing Suárez. His current market value is €4.5m and it could rise after the end of this campaign.

It’s to be noted that there’s no mention if Suárez or Watford are interested in the transfer.
