It is known to our readers that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy approached Telangana High Court seeking exemption from the court appearances in CBI related cases. He sought the permission of the court to allow another accused to represent him in the future court appearances.

CBI already filed a counter in this case and the court posted the next hearing of the case to April 9th. CBI had made interesting points in its counter. “Jagan is trying to infringe the conditions of the bail despite knowing that there are serious allegations on him,” CBI said.

“Jagan becoming the Chief Minister does not bring any changes to the case. He is in politics ever since the cases were registered. Personal Exemption is not the right of the accused, it depends on the court. Seeking exemption citing duties related to the people is the violation of Article 14 of the Constitution,” CBI added.

The country’s premier investigating agency told the court that Jagan’s appeal is not eligible for the court’s time and should be rejected.
