Buffon played a starring role in the Bianconeri's 1-1 Coppa Italia draw with AC Milan on Thursday evening, during which the 42-year-old made nine saves, and he lavished praise on fellow veterans Ronaldo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic after the match.

"Ronaldo is incredible. I will admit, one of the reasons I returned to Juventus was the opportunity to play and train with Cristiano Ronaldo, and every day is a revelation," he said, as reported by Football Italia.

The 2006 FIFA World Cup winner also heaped praise on former teammate Ibrahimovic who, at the age of 38, recently returned to Italy to join AC Milan, where he has been in impressive form.

"... So many (people) turned their noses up when Ibrahimovic was coming to Milan, but at the age of 38, he is making the difference," Buffon added.

"When it comes to players, you have to analyse them individually and not just as a birthdate. I am very happy for him, he is an extraordinary champion."
