Sundowns Gear Up For League Title Fight

Mamelodi Sundowns will return to Absa Premiership action this weekend in a must-win clash for the Brazilians.

Sundowns have played one game less than log-leaders, Kaizer Chiefs and two fewer than Orlando Pirates who’s since leapfrogged the Brazilians into second place.

Head Coach Pitso Mosimane’s side will host Chippa United this weekend in a must-win clash, if they want to keep their title hopes alive.

“As a team we are just taking it one game at a time. We know it’s going to be difficult, we know that Chippa is a strong team so we are going to analyse them tomorrow. We know what we are going to deal with and it’s not going to be easy but we are ready to fight.” Themba Zwane said on Sundowns’ official Twitter account.

After the Chippa clash Sundowns will lock horns with Bloemfontein Celtic in another catch-up clash before returning to action in the Nedbank Cup.
