Seiko‘s latest JDM release references its iconic 1964 Crown Chronograph watch. The watch maintains its predecessor’s stopwatch-meets-wristwatch aesthetic with its black timer bezel. The version, however, does not come with a chronograph function and 2 o’clock pusher but continues the Crown Chronograph’s legacy with a highly legible dial.
Equipped with a newer Caliber 6R35 movement, the Seiko Presage SARX has a 70-hour power reserve and is water-resistant up to 200 meters. Available in the choice of emerald, back, or satin, each color will be limited to 1,964 pieces, and will be priced at ¥83,000 JPY (approximately $755 USD). Those in Japan can expect this watch to drop on February 21.
