Here is your 5pm transfer deadline day bulletin.

Albert Adomah deal moves closer

It appears Cardiff City's deadline day swoop for Nottingham Forest winger Albert Adomah is reaching crunch point.

Yesterday we learned that City indeed held and interest in recruiting the 32-year-old Ghana international, but things have certainly accelerated on deadline day.

We understand that Nottingham Forest have indeed confirmed that Adomah is likely to leave before tonight's 11pm deadline, but would not divulge to which club he would be moving.

We believe there is a strong chance that club is Cardiff City and numerous sources, including The Sun, have claimed that Adomah is indeed on his way south from Nottingham.

Adomah moved to the City Ground only last summer, but it looks like his time could well be up there, with a loan move to Cardiff until the end of the season the deal said to be on the table.

West Brom line up shock move for Lee Peltier

West Brom have reportedly made a shock deadline day swoop for Cardiff City's veteran defender Lee Peltier.

The Bluebirds have already let six players leave the club this month and it was understood no other senior player would be allowed to leave.

However, according to Sky Sports, Championship rivals West Brom appear to have identified Peltier as a replacement for Nathan Ferguson, who is on the brink of sealing a move to Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.

The Baggies have been busy on deadline day, having already captured Kamil Grosicki from Hull City.

Now, it looks as though they are ready to make another addition, with the 33-year-old right-back thought to be on their radar.

Jordan Rhodes move

Cardiff boss Neil Harris is stepping up an 11th-hour move for Jordan Rhodes as he seeks to bolster his squad before the January transfer window shuts.

Rhodes was once amongst the most prolific strikers in the country, with a phenomenal goal-getting record at Blackburn and Huddersfield.

He joined Blackburn in an £8million move eight years ago, but has seen his career dip more recently and the goals dry up.

However, Rhodes is still only 29 and it is thought Harris feels the front-man can give his Bluebirds the goal boost that has been lacking up top this season.

Stoke City 'fend off' Bluebirds interest in striker

Stoke City have fended off a deadline day swoop from Cardiff City for striker Lee Gregory, according to the Stoke Sentinel.

The Bluebirds are in the hunt for an attacking player, with Adomah linked with a move to the Welsh capital today.

However, the Stoke outlet say that Harris has sounded out the Championship club over reuniting with his former Millwall frontman Gregory.

It is said Cardiff were willing to take Gregory on loan, but Stoke were willing to listen to offers which involved only a permanent deal.

Those advances, it is claimed, have been rebuffed.

Gregory is now set to be named in the Potters squad to face Derby County tonight.

Omar Bogle's departure confirmed

Cardiff this morning confirmed that Omar Bogle has joined ADO Den Haag on loan until the end of the season.

It seemed clear the striker was out of favour under Neil Harris and his exit this month was always on the cards.

WalesOnline yesterday were told that a move to the Eredivisie outfit was on the cusp and this morning both clubs confirmed the deal.

Bogle's current deal at Cardiff City expires at the end of the season.
