Patch 0.5.10 is now live, developer Crema having posted the following patch notes:
Improvements
- Four-lead clover can now be acquired without the Skates.
- Every Temtem spawn zone from the Anak Volcano has been replicated in new zones in the exterior too in order to have access to them without using the Skates.
- The basic Temcard and Balm can now be acquired from every Temporium and miniTemporium.
- Improved movement sync on remote players.
Fixes
- Fixed a squad desync after capturing and releasing a Temtem and capturing another one in the same battle.
- Fixed some problems introduced in the previous patch with the co-op teleport feature.
- Fixed being stuck after creating a co-op party just after the partner enters your server room.
- Fixed fainter curse visual order to display the Temtem being knocked-out after the target Temtem.
- Fixed a UI scale issue in the Notification Center when deleting or accepting multiple notifications.
- Fixed some errors inspecting other users after their characters were deleted.
Since launch, the Pokemon-like MMO has been well received by PC players and last week Temtem ranked within Steam’s top 25 most played games.
Miguel has been playing plenty of Temtem’s early access build – make sure you read his early impressions:
Temtem has some promising ideas at its core, with a uniquely challenging combat system and a beautiful world to explore. Unfortunately, so many other elements of the game fall flat for this initial release. A harsh economy, a lack of multiplayer content, underwhelming character and monster designs and more plague the title, while minor issues like server caps and constant maintenance add another layer of frustration to the experience. With a projected final release date of Q3 2021, there’s plenty of time for Crema to evolve and grow their game, and I only hope Temtem manages to become the ambitious, multiplayer monster-catching adventure it so desperately wants to be.
Temtem is only available on PC right now (both on Steam and Humble Bundle) though there are plans to bring the game to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One as well.
