Former UFC lightweight Desmond Green arrested (again), sent back to jail

by

Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight, Desmond Green, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with felony driving without a license. The infraction violated terms of his conditional release and sent “The Predator” back to jail.

That’s according to a report from Aaron Bronsteter.

Green, 30, was out on bond and awaiting trial for his role in a fatal, five-vehicle crash that occurred in Pembrook Pines, Florida, back in summer 2018. His attorney disputes the charge of involuntary manslaughter and denies his client was under the influence.

Compounding matters is the fact that Green was driving on a suspended license at the time of the incident and shouldn’t have been behind the wheel in the first place. In fact, “The Predator” had already racked up numerous traffic citations prior to the crash.

Green remains in custody at Broward County Main Jail and will be back in front of a judge on March 6.
