A proposed move for Polokwane City to sign a Malian international midfielder has been halted, though the Siya crew understands the player landed in Mzansi this week!

Rise and Shine confirmed this week that Khuda Muyamba had agreed to join the Limpopo-based outfit on a long-term contract to strengthen their attack given his prowess in the Malawian Super League last year.

It means City have now exhausted their foreign quota with Muyamba joining Sulani Phiri (Zambia), Mohammed Anas (Ghana), George Chigova and Walter Musona (both Zimbabwe) as the five players the club is allowed to have contracted on their books at any given time – leaving Sedibe in limbo.

But Siya sources have informed the crew that Sedibe, who has made six appearances for the Malian national team since 2014, is likely to join a team in the GladAfrica Championship and agree to a pre-contract with City for next season.
