Two women questioned about Jonathan Cairns murder released on bail
by SUZANNE MCGONAGLETWO women questioned about the murder of a teenager in Co Derry more than 20 years ago have been released on bail.
The women, aged 46 and 72, were arrested on Thursday by detectives investigating the killing of Jonathan Cairns (18) in Ballykelly in April 1999.
The teenager was attacked on his way home from a night.
His body was found in a shallow grave in Loughermore Forest the following day.
A PSNI spokeswoman said the two women had been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
