West Brom in shock transfer move for Cardiff City's Lee Peltier - reports

by Glen WilliamsWest Brom have reportedly made a shock deadline day swoop for Cardiff City's veteran defender Lee Peltier.
The Bluebirds have already let six players leave the club this month and it was understood no other senior player would be allowed to leave.
However, according to Sky Sports, Championship rivals West Brom appear to have identified Peltier as a replacement for Nathan Ferguson, who is on the brink of sealing a move to Premier League outfit Crystal Palace.
The Baggies have been busy on deadline day, having already captured Kamil Grosicki from Hull City.
Now, it looks as though they are ready to make another addition, with the 33-year-old right-back thought to be on their radar.
Should Peltier leave it would represent a huge blow to the Bluebirds, with the defender having been one of the most consistent performers so far this season.
West Brom would likely get him on a cheap, too, with his contract set to run out at the end of the season.
Jazz Richards and young Cameron Coxe are the only other right backs in the squad at present, with Leandro Bacuna and, of course, Callum Paterson also able to fill the void should he leave.
