Walsall swimming pools to reopen on Saturday

Walsall's swimming pools have been closed for "essential maintenance".

Walsall Council confirmed the pools at its Gala Baths had been closed today but was due to reopen tomorrow.

The swimming centre posted on social media saying: "To all of our customers please be aware both pools will be closed between 4pm and 6pm this evening.

"Lessons will continue as normal. The Brine Pool will reopen after 6pm, however the Gala Pool will remain closed for the rest of the evening.

"Thank you for your patience."
