Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova has said two persons infected with coronavirus were identified in Russia.

"The Rospobrebnadzor [Federal Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare] services have identified two persons infected with the coronavirus in Russia – in Trans-Baikal and Tyumen regions. They are under strict surveillance. They have been isolated, and necessary assistance has been provided to them. Both are Chinese citizens," she said, according to Russian news agency TASS.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the coronavirus was declared a global emergency by the World Health Organization, as the outbreak continues to spread outside China.

The death toll in China is 213 people now.
