It's deadline day and the closure of the January transfer window is nearing.

In Manchester, the January transfer window was dominated by United's pursuit of Bruno Fernandes.

After weeks of protracted negotiations involving United and Sporting Lisbon, Fernandes was officially confirmed as a United player on January 30, less than 48 hours before the window's closure.

United are still searching for an addition up front, with Joshua King, who was at the club between 2008 and 2013, on their radar.

On the blue side of the city, Pep Guardiola has remained adamant throughout the window that he is not looking to strengthen his squad and that looks set to remain the case.

When Guardiola was asked about the potential for late arrivals during his press conference on Friday ahead of City's trip to Tottenham, he responded: "You know the answer."
