Missing 2-year-old girl last seen in Socastee found safe

HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WMBF) - A missing 2-year-old last seen near Plantation Road in Socastee has been found safe, police said.

According to a press release, Adeline Maltese was last around 10 a.m. Friday. A police spokesperson announced that she had been found safe as of 12:24 p.m.

Tony Casey, spokesperson for Horry County Fire Rescue, said K-9 units were out searching for Adeline. The department also utilized a drone in the search.
