Jamia shooter carried a red bag to hide gun: Shocking details of what more was inside

A paper with "Manidir Wahi Banayenge" written was found in the bag. The paper also had a picture of two flags in orange colour drawn on the right side of the page.

A red bag was found that belongs to the accused Jamia shooter who attacked the students protesting against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) and National Register of Citizens (NRC) on Thursday.

The red bag was seen on the accused Jamia shooter in various viral videos. The accused is seen walking with the red bag before he began brandishing his gun in public.

The red bag was found lying on a road after the firing incident. A registrar office found the bag lying on the road unclaimed and since it was not claimed it remains with the office.

DETAILS OF ITEMS INSIDE BAG

A paper with "Manidir Wahi Banayenge" written was found in the bag. The paper also had a picture of two flags in orange colour drawn on the right side of the page, according to sources.

Police sources revealed that it was in this bag that the minor was hiding the gun used in the Jamia firing case.

Along with this, one book on commerce was found.

A passport-size photograph of a girl was recovered from the bag.

A tie, part of dress code of Jewar Public School in Gautam Budh Nagar, UP apart from per-board answer sheets was recovered from the red bag.

BAG: THE EVIDENCE

During Thursday's chaos, the bag was picked up by one of the guards at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) University. The guard's name is Shadab.

The bag has been handed over to the police as evidence.

Jamia Millia Islamia proctor Waseem Ahmed said, "A register was recovered with Class 12 notes in it. When we flipped the pages, it was found that on a set of pages his name was written. We have handed over the bag to the police."
