Man United make deadline day move for Josh King
by Buzz ContributorBournemouth are scouring the transfer market to replace Manchester United target Josh King.
The 28-year-old has emerged as a shock option for Ole Gunnar Solskajer, who worked with the striker when he was a youth-team player at Old Trafford.
The Red Devils urgently need a new forward after losing Marcus Rashford to injury.
And according to The Athletic , a move could be on as Eddie Howe eyes new strikers abroad.
Despite the speculation, Solskajer was coy when quizzed about new arrivals earlier today.
“I'm not sure, I don’t expect any more business to be done,” said Solskajer.
“I don’t think anything is going to happen.
“Sometimes I say something here and something else happens, sometimes I say I'm happy with a player and he gets a different message, so I don't want to help or make speculations grow more and more today.
“I expect nothing to happen, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen.”
United finally signed Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon earlier this week.
"My love of Manchester United really started when I used to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play and ever since then I have been a big fan of this great club," said Fernandes.
"I have worked hard to get to this moment and I can promise the fans that I will give everything for the badge to help bring us more success and trophies.
"I want to thank Sporting for everything they have done for me. It is surreal to hear the nice words that have been said about me from players that used to play for this team."
