Flash #750: Oversized Issue's Sneak Peek Promises a Jay Garrick Story
by Tim AdamsWriter Joshua Williamson has revealed a sneak peek at The Flash #750. The two-page spread by artist Dave Marquez features the Justice Society of America's Jay Garrick racing through a city street.
"THE FLASH #750's Final Order Cut-Off is this Monday," Williamson captioned in a tweet. "It's filled with great stories, the start of a new story arc, and BIG moments that will surprise you. Including this AWESOME two-page spread by @DaveMarquez & @loquesunalex! Flash #750 shouldn't be missed! Pre-order!"
The newspaper in the two-page spread references World War II, possibly hinting at the time period this story takes place. However, Jay Garrick and the JSA have recently appeared in both Scott Snyder's Justice League and Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's Doomsday Clock. Also, we must not forget that time travel is a big component of The Flash, so that is always a possibility.
The 80-page prestige format issue featuring stories from some of the most talented creators to ever work on the Scarlet Speedster's title, including Marv Wolfman, Geoff Johns, Bryan Hitch, Francis Manapul, David Marquez, Riley Rossmo and current Flash writer Joshua Williamson, among others.
The Flash #750 goes on sale March 4 from DC Comics.
