It is thought to be one of the classiest events on the showbiz calendar as it honours the best in Film and TV in the UK.

The British star stumbled up to collect to gong in a black backless dress and covered her mouth as she giggled and stopped to exchange hugs and kisses with a number of attendees.
She seemed to have hit enjoyed the bubbly throughout the night as she giddily rushed up the steps to the podium and cupped her breasts.
Reflecting on the moment during an interview with The Telegraph in 2016, the Harry Potter actress told: "Oh God, I had no idea I was going to win!"
“In those days they’d have the dinner before the awards – note that they don’t do this anymore! – and people kept topping up my glass."
"When I went up on stage, I thought I was terribly funny. Afterwards, I was under the table, literally, with Tim Roth setting the world to rights and I completely missed meeting Princess Anne. Jesus, it’s a wonder I ever worked again.”
Danny Dyer
EastEnders hardman Danny Dyer found himself in need of a drink so badly at the 2019 awards that he asked event organiser to allow him into the Virgin Media customer viewing party so he could sip on some fizz.
A source told The Sun: “ Danny got a bit bored during the awards and persuaded someone to let him into the customer bash, much to the delight of the guests there.
“He knocked back a few free glasses of bubbly before returning to his seat at the show with a spring in his step.
“He enjoyed catching up with industry pals at the after-party too and ditched his seat to work the room. He was on top form.”
Ricky Gervais
Comedian Ricky Gervais made a boozy speech on stage when he attended the 2016 BAFTAs in LA.

The joker provoked rapturous laughter with a controversial speech before heading off stage to “go and get drunk more”.
The Office star was in Los Angeles to collect a top award from BAFTA for his comedic achievements - but his acceptance speech veered well away from the classic “Thanks to my partner for all her support”.
Instead, he labelled his girlfriend of 30 years a freeloader who had contributed “f*** all” during his time at the top, and quipped that he had nothing but contempt for the award.
Olivia Colman
Actress Olivia Colman promised during her 2019 acceptance speech that she was going to get tipsy to celebrates her accolades.
As she took to the stage to accept winning the Best Actress award for her role as Queen Anne of Great Britain in The Favourite, she announced she was going to "to get so p*****".
The star said: "I’m very shaky, sorry. Can’t read [my speech] either! We’re having an amazing night, aren’t we? We’re going to get so pissed later!"
Olivia seemed to stay true to her word as she was seen bleary-eyed as she left the venue beaming from ear to eat after celebrating her tremendous night.
