CM Jagan Approaches High Court Once Again
by Sridhar Raavi, By Mirchi9Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy approached Telangana High Court once again seeking exemption from the court appearances. He sought the permission of the court to allow another accused to represent him in the future court appearances.
“I needed every minute of my time for the Development of the State and so could not attend the court,” Jagan said. He also brought to the notice of the court that CBI and ED courts did not take somethings into consideration while rejecting the exemption.
Jagan is the Accused No 1 in 11 CBI Charge Sheets and Five ED Charg Sheets filed so far in his disproportionate assets cases. Previously, Jagan approached the court for exemption in court appearances in CBI cases, now he approached for ED cases.
CBI and ED have been maintaining that the presence of the accused in severe financial fraud cases is extremely necessary. Previously, the High Court rejected the Exemption for Jagan when he was undertaking Padayatra as the Opposition Leader.
