Seasonal influenza vaccine is important: Ministry of Health

Muscat: While the seasonal influenza vaccine in ineffective against the new Coronavirus, it still helps protect yourself, said the Ministry of Health.

The Ministry of Health, in a statement said: “The seasonal influenza vaccine protects you and others, make sure to take it. It is most recommended for elderly, Umrah and Hajj preforms, chronic disease patients, health care providers, immunocompromised patients, pregnant ladies and children.”
