Disney's Avengers Campus Has an Animatronic Web-Slinging Spider-Man (VIDEO)

According to DisneyParksBlog, the new Avengers Campus theme park in Disneyland California will feature several Spider-themed attractions -- but that's not all. Spider-Man himself will literally swing into the park as an animatronic, and there's video to prove it. He will wear an exclusive, new suit designed by Marvel Studios Head of Visual Development Ryan Meinerding at all his appearances throughout the park.
Avengers Campus will be home to Disney's first Spider-Man ride: the Worldwide Engineering Brigade, aka WEB. In it, guests will ride the "Web Slinger" vehicle and "sling webs" as they catch escaping Spider-Bots.
The California park isn't the only stop the Avengers are making at Disney. New attractions will also appear at Hong Kong Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. The Marvel expansions to these parks are estimated to take several years to complete.
Due to licensing agreements with Universal for its Islands of Adventure park in Florida, we may not see any Marvel-themed areas coming to Disney World anytime soon. Until then, Disneyland California will host the Avengers, starting this summer.
