Official: Barca Sign 'Next Ronaldo'

FC Barcelona have announced the signing of a Portuguese talent who has been dubbed "the next Cristiano Ronaldo".

The Catalan giants have confirmed the signing of Francisco Trincao today on their official Twitter account.
The 20-year-old, who predominantly plays on the right wing, will reportedly join the Blaugrana for a fee of about €31 million (R505 million), although he will spend the rest of the season at Braga.

Trincao, who has represented his country at every youth level, is considered "the next Ronaldo" by a number of publications in Portugal as he possesses similar flair to that of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

Prior to Barcelona's interest, Trincao, who has contributed to nine goals in 30 matches at senior level, was believed to be on the radars of several Premier League sides.
