United face Wolves again

What TV channel is Manchester United v Wolves on? Kick-off time and early team news

Man United host Wolves on Saturday evening at Old Trafford but what TV channel is the game on?

United won away at the Etihad in midweek, beating Man City 1-0 in the Carabao Cup, and the result would have been a welcome distraction from their poor performances in the Premier League, if the result hadn’t enabled their rivals to reach Wembley and the final of the competition.

But fast forward three days later and United welcome Wolves to Old Trafford, which will be the fourth meeting of the season between the two sides and the sixth in just under 12 months.

United are unbeaten in their last three clashes with Wolves, most recently emerging as 1-0 winners in the FA Cup at home, courtesy of a Juan Mata goal.

The result meant United are now unbeaten in 11 home games against Wolves in all competitions (W9 D2) since losing 0-1 in February 1980 in a top-flight match – and they haven’t trailed for a single minute in all of those 11 unbeaten games.

If home dominance over Wolves wasn’t enough, the Red Devils have also been handed a timely boost with the multi-million signing of long-term target Bruno Fernandes, who is expected to immediately make his debut, wearing the number 18 shirt.

Wolves currently have seven Portuguese players in their ranks however, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping it’s his own Portuguese man who steals the headlines, come Saturday evening.
